Mermaid Eyes: Inspired by JulieGBeauty

Welcome back!  I was inspired by this gorgeous look JulieG posted on Instagram. I wore this out last weekend and got so many compliments on it. It's a bright look which is out of my comfort zone. Here is a photo of Julie's makeup.  Isn't it beautiful?!? When I saw it I knew I had to recreate it! I'll show you how I did today... First take a bright teal shadow on a small shadow brush and apply it to the middle of your eye lid using patting motions. Mine looks matte here but it actually has a satin finish to it (keep in mind I don't have studio lighting like she does)  Using a big fluffy brush apply a sheer purple color in your crease using windshield wiper motions.  Using this dark blue shadow I applied it to the inner and outer corner of my lid using the same small shadow brush. Take time to blend this darker shade into the teal we applied earlier. Then I took this shimmery ivory color as my highlight. Remember you can re-apply the teal if you lost any of it's v...
