Monthly Favorites: March

Hello again! Thank you for joining me today. Let's talk about some of my favorites for the month of March. I feel like I have more this month than I did last month...probably not but they are really good things that I can't stop loving. I will tell you a bit about each product and link to it or something similar at the end of each post. Here we go! Candle:  Island Colada from Bath & Body Works Of course this candle wouldn't be available anymore. I almost feel bad for sharing it because of that. I stock up when BBW has their awesome $9 candle sale. I buy a ton of candles during that sale in a variety of scents to last me throughout the year. When I was in the process of setting up my beauty room, I came across a bunch of half melted candles and this was one of them. It has a really nice, sweet coconut scent. It's not too over powering, but it's enough to fill the entire room with it's beautiful fragrance. I linked to the Coconut Vanilla one that they hav...

Faithful Friday: Fruit of The Spirit: Goodness

Hey there! Today we are talking about Goodness . I can't believe we are already half way through our FOTS series. Have you been keeping up with your goals and growing your fruits over the past few weeks?? I have and I am really happy to report that I find it easier to maintain these "attitudes" as time goes on.  Let's get to learning! The definition of "Goodness" is- The quality or state of being good. Now we ask ourselves...Are we good?? Or are we naughty?? haha! I'll give you all a minute to think about that. The reason I am doing that is because when I was writing this I had to stop for a minute and think to myself about whether I can honestly say that I am good or not. We're not taking about "good job" or "I'm good", We are talking about goodness in the eyes of God. Now how "good" do you think you've been? Eeek! Admit it, I'm sure most of us had a tiny bit of doubt when we thought ...

Product Updates

Hi everyone, I did a post a few weeks ago sharing some new products. (It is linked at the bottom of this post)At that time I had tried most of them once or twice so I was only able to give first impressions on them. I have been using those products since then and have a pretty good idea of what I think about them so I thought it would be a good idea to update you, in case you were thinking of purchasing any of these yourself. elf Illuminating Eye Cream~ I have to admit, I didn't have high hopes for this when I decided to get it at Walmart. I have tried SO many eye creams. Affordable, expensive, and everything in between. Still, I have yet to find one that I love. When I purchased this I was having a bit of dryness under my eyes- Thanks for the cold weather. Within a matter of days the dry patches were gone! I can't say that I notice any "illuminating" from this product. However, I am very pleased with the amount of hydration I get from this cream. I have used thi...

Neutral Eye & Pink Lip

Hello again! Today I am sharing a makeup look that I wear quite often. It's easy, it's pretty, and I can do it without thinking about it. I use one palette and 3 eye brushes for this tutorial. It's very simple and can be done fairly quickly (as long as your liquid liner cooperates)  Let's get started! I chose this handy little guy as my palette today. It has a great mix of shadows and I find that when I use this, I don't need to add in a bunch of other shadows. It's perfect for creating a neutral eye.  Ready for the easiest tutorial to follow on Earth?? I literally just go down the palette to get this eye look. You're not going to believe how easy this is to do!  I took frisk on a fluffy brush and applied it through my crease and blended up towards the browbone. This color is fairly light but it can give you a good amount of color if you build it up.  Using a smaller rounded crease brush, I applied this warm brown shadow to darken the crease. Using the same ...
