Back to The Basics: Eye shadow

Hello again, Today I will be sharing the basic's of blending and applying eye shadow. What colors, brushes, application, etc. I've been getting a lot of questions on how I get my eye shadow to look the way it does. Keep in mind, I am NOT a professional. I've taught myself these tricks after years of playing with makeup. First things first, What shadows to pick? Today we are going with a neutral, matte eye look (Newbie translation: Browns with no shimmer or glitter) Basically, a Light, Medium, and Dark shadow. I chose Urban Decay's Naked Basics palette. This palette consists of 6 eye shadows. Don't get scared! I'm only using 3 of them for this look. Get Ready With Me: Sunday Best

Hello again! Hope you all had a great weekend. I don't know about you but sometimes I just cannot decide what to wear to Church on Sunday. Today's outfit was very comfortable and cute which is PERFECT for me. I snapped some quick photos while getting ready today to help you recreate it.  Let's get started... I prepped my skin with L'Oreal Pore Vanisher. Then dabbed BareSkin foundation all over my face and buffed in with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush.  To brighten my under eye area, I applied Instant Age Rewind Concealer in the Brightening shade from inner corner and extended past my eye. Then to conceal I apply the Light shade right under my eye. I blended them in using light patting motions with my ring finger.  To conceal and lightly highlight, I applied Maybelliene Fit Me concealer around my nose, the bridge of my nose, forehead, and chin and blended with my middle fingers.
