Back to The Basics: False Eyelashes

Hey there, Let's talk some lash! I know a lot of people are intimidated by false lashes. Why? Because they're hard to get on, they're uncomfortable, you just don't know what you're doing. If any of those sound like something you'd say then this post is for you! Grab your note pad, this is a good one! Picking the right lashes for you~ Decide what look you're going for... Natural (What mascara is that? Your lashes look great!) Edgy (Watch out! She means business with her spikey/pointy lashes) Glamorous (Ooh-la-la! Aren't you fancy?!) Drag Queen (Man! (Literally) Your lashes are over the top!) haha! If you are new to falsies (like, have never tried them before) I suggest trying the individual lashes or half lash. With these you still get the look of a fuller lash without the heavy feeling false lashes can give. Trimming and Sizing Lashes~  Now that you've picked your style, you need to prep your lashes for application. Remove the lash...

Win It or Bin It? Physicians Formula Super BB Cream

Welcome back, My hunt continues for the "perfect" CC or BB Cream. You may remember my last "Win It or Bin It" on the P.F. Super CC Cream. I'll link it below in case you missed it. Click to view my first Win It or Bin It Post Don't get me wrong, I am still using the CC Cream and am fairly happy with it. I came across this trial sized tube of the P.F. Super BB Cream and decided to give it a whirl. A little rant about Physicians Formula... I've complained about P.F's pricing and products before. I think they are WAY over priced for drugstore. I mean, in most cases you can spend a little bit more and get a high end product that will actually work! Keep in mind that I am a bargain hunter when it comes to well...anything really. haha! I want to feel like the items I purchase are WORTH the money I am spending on them. I find myself cringing when I see the P.F. display. Especially, when most of the products I've tried from them are junk and ...

Fall Makeup Look

Hello again, It has been quite some time since I posted a makeup look. Oh how I've missed it! Today I will be sharing a look that is perfect for Fall. It features warm browns and a gorgeous shimmery lid. These colors really make your eyes pop. I am focusing on eyes, cheeks, and lips today. Before I started I applied my "Base Makeup" Foundation (Balance-n-Brighten  by Laura Geller), Concealer (Maybelline Age Rewind), brows (Oh, about 5 Milani Products), contour (matte bronzer), and primed my lids (Milani eye primer). These are the shadows we will be using today… Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 and L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Amber Rush. This combination really works well together. These are the brushes we will be using today… To start the look take the shade Cover on a big fluffy brush. Apply this color to your crease using a windshield wiper motion. Blending up towards the brow bone. Then take Primal on a soft dome brush and darken the crease. To darken t...

Halloween Series: Sweet Sugar Skull

Hola Amigas! This will be the final look of my Halloween Series. I hope you have enjoyed them so far. I love sugar skulls. Some of you may remember the sugar skull I did on myself years ago (pre Adela Told Me) I loved it so much that I decided to re-create it for you. So grab your maracas and vamonos! Isn't it awesome!?! Step 1: Base Color Apply a white base all over your face. I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk. Blend it out with your fingers. We want it just white enough that our skin doesn't show through. I decided to use bright colors for mine. You can use whatever colors you like. Taking a hot pink blush (or  eye shadow) and a blush brush, apply a good amount where you'd normally apply bronzer and fill in the hollow area of your face. Also apply this color to your temples. Taking a purple eye shadow and a fluffy brush, apply this above the pink we just applied (where you'd normally contour your cheek bones) bring this color up to the pink on your for...
