Empties- Products I've used up

Welcome back! It's that time again...Time to talk about all of the stuff I've used over the past month. As always, I will quickly review each product and tell you if I would repurchase or not. I used not one but TWO base coats! Bonder is my go-to base coat. I always have a backup on hand. I've used it for years and have always been happy with it's performance. The Julep base coat was nice too. This came in a set I purchased off Hautelook. I'm not planning on repurchasing because I prefer Bonder over any base coat I've tried thus far.  Let's talk face masks. I love them! Can't get enough of them, although I don't use them as often as I should. I shoot for once a week but that very rarely happens. The Ellen Tracy Face and Eye Masks are from TJ Maxx. I'm not very picky when it comes to picking out masks. I usually will get whatever they have in stock. Another favorite of mine are the peel off masks. I get mine from Drug Stores o...

Boxy Charm: First Impression

Hello Friends! I decided to post this as a "bonus". If you'd like to see more of these (monthly) let me know. I signed up for Boxy Charm last month. Boxy Charm is a monthly subscription service. For $21 a month you get 5 full OR luxury sized samples. Each month has a theme. The box I received today is the "Fashion Week Fabulous" box for September. Now I did have to go on a waiting list but within 3 weeks I was taken off and given a chance to sign up.  On to the first impressions ! I received my box via USPS. The box came in good condition. My one gripe is that the tracking information was never updated online so I had no idea when to expect my package.  There was an issue with the shipping zip code, which was promptly fixed from the people at Boxy Charm.   I'm hoping next time the tracking won't be an issue. This is what the box looks like. The shipping label is affixed to the other side. P.s. Excuse the photos. I was getting my hair done while I took t...

Halloween Series: Retro Glam

Hello again! Today is all about getting glammed up! For this look we are using "normal" day-to-day make up products. Only we are pumping up the glam. This isn't just a look for Halloween... I would wear this out on a date or special occasion too. It's too beautiful not to! Grab your makeup bag and your favorite red lipstick and lets get glam-ified! Gorgeous, right?!?! Face~ Start by applying a full coverage foundation. I used Rimmel Stay Matte. Make sure to blend it into the skin really well to achieve a flawless look. Apply concealer and set with a powder. Apply a light pink blush to your cheeks and a shimmery highlight on your cheek bones. I filled in my brows as I normally would. Eyes~ We are keeping the shadow simple and focusing on the liner for this look. Prime your lids with your favorite primer. Apply a shadow that matches your skin tone (You can even go a shade or two lighter if you want) all over the lid. For a bit of a contour, apply a li...
