Back to The Basics: Eyeshadow/Eyelid Primer

Welcome back! If you're lucky enough to be friends with me on Facebook (kidding!) then you may have seen my picture of some shadows I swatched with and without a primer. I decided to do a short post about it because a lot of people don't use them. My thoughts: if you use eyeshadow and have issues with creasing and color pay off (aka the vibrancy of your shadows) USE A PRIMER!!! What is a primer?  In a nutshell, primer helps your shadows stick to your eyelid. What does a primer do? It helps prevent creasing and fading throughout the day. It can also make your shadows more true to color. Some primers (if they're tinted) can even out the discoloration on your lids.  What primer did I use in the photos? ELF Eyelid Primer. For $1! Available at Target, Walmart, or at www.eyeslipsface.com What's the difference between high end and drugstore primers? I've tried a variety of primers (too many to list) and I will say that my favorite high end is Urban Decay Primer Potion. And...
