Halloween Series: 3 Quick Looks

Hello Friends! Welcome back to the 2nd post of my Halloween Series. Today I will show you 3 looks that are easy and can be achieved using products you probably already own. I was thinking specifically about those of you that can dress up for work but don't want to wear an actual costume.  Look 1: Orange and Black Eyeshadow Start by priming your lids. Apply a white shimmery shadow around your inner corner, tear duct, and brow bone. Apply a light orange shadow on the inner 3rd of your eyelid blending it into the white. On the center of the lid, apply a bright orange shade. Blend it into the light orange shadow. We want the look blended but want to keep the gradient effect (transitioning from white, to light orange, to bright orange, and eventually black). On the outer corner apply a black shadow and bring it into the crease. Really take your time to blend the black out. Bring the black up to your brow bone but not touching the highlight we applied earlier. We want some spac...

Halloween Series: Lovely Leopard

Hey there! Halloween is just around the corner which means it's time for some Halloween tutorials! Yay! I love Halloween and this time of year in general. Today's Lovely Leopard look is an awesome way to save some money on a costume. All you have to do is paint your face up, throw some black clothes on, or even leopard print leggings (fun) and go! Pin your hair back and let's get to it! Here's what you'll need: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk (available at Target or Ulta) Assortment of brown eye shadows Black eye shadow Black Liquid Liner Black and Brown Pencil Liner (Keep in mind this is what I used for this look. You will be able to re-create this using any one of the black liners. I just happened to have them on hand so I used them) Bronzer Makeup Sponge Brushes Face Primer Step 1:  I skipped lotion for this look because I want this makeup to last. Milk is such a creamy product that we don't want it slipping all over the place through out t...

Hello to you all! You all know I have a thing for nail art. Sometimes I get on a roll and do some kind of art every time I do my nails. Other times not so much. Believe it or not, nail art is pretty easy when it's broken down into steps. Today I will be sharing 3 basic nail art designs.  Polka Dots Paint you nails any color you want. Taking a dotting tool (I got a set on amazon) If you don't want to buy a set you can use a bobby pin for small dots, a pencil eraser for large dots, or the end of a paint brush. Place a small amount of the color you want your polka dots on a paper plate. Dip your dotting tool into the paint and start with your dots. If you want random dots then just go for it! Remember to wipe the old paint off of your dotting tool if it starts to dry out. If you want more symmetrical dots, you can start by dotting down the center of your nail. Then dot the sides of that till you have the look you want. Remember to off set your dots. Otherwise you'll lo...
