I went shopping! Target

Hey there!
I had to return something to Target and this happened! Are you surpised that I bought more than I planned? Probably not if you shop at Target. Let's check out the loot!

I have to admit. This isn't as much damage as I usually do when I go to Target. But I did pick up some new things that I'm excited to try.

This was the first thing I saw. Let's hope it works! My hair has been driving me nuts lately. My hair tends to be frizzy so hopefully this works for me.

I picked up another EOS shave cream. This is the only kind I use. I usually go for the vanilla scented one but this was all they had so I thought I'd give it a try.

This is the face wash I've been using in the morning. I'm getting low and I rarely shop at Target nowadays so I figured I better get another while I was there.

I've really been enjoying the Dove body washes lately. I smelled this one and I had to get it! The combination of pistachio cream and magnolia is perfect! I can't wait to use this!

I needed another e.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set
and Daily Brush cleaner. I use the makeup mist on work days and the brush cleaner to clean the brush I use for gel liner. $3 a piece. Which isn't bad!

I've been on the hunt for the new Nude line Maybelliene came out with recently. I finally found some of the lipsticks. Every place I go they were all tampered with. Gross!! These were the only two that caught my eye. I have to say they are beautiful!!!

I found these little bargains. Long tank tops for $5! I chose pink, gray, black, and white. I live in these things in the warmer months.

That's all I got! Not much but I'm excited to try some new things. Look for product reviews soon!

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
