I went shopping! Rite Aid

Hello again!
Today I'll be sharing my goods from a recent trip to Rite Aid. I had a 20% off coupon burning a hole in my pocket so I decided to do a little shopping. Some things I needed, some things I didn't.
Let's see what I got!

Ok, so I went a little crazy on the polishes but they were so pretty!

I spotted these first, this is a brand I don't recall seeing in the past. The left is a  gorgeous creamy teal and the right is a greenish/blueish shimmer. One thing that irritates me is that these polishes arent named. I guess polishes don't have to have a name, but still...irritates me! Moving on!

These are another brand I've never seen. The colors are beautiful! From left to right:  NP288 Peonies Gone Wild. A dark berry with purple/silver shimmers.
NP281 Glitzy Heels. A medium pink with silver shimmers.
NP219 Blue Steel. A creamy aqua with silver shimmers.
NP287 Ride The Waves. A bright medium blue with silver shimmers.

I've seen this in the store many times. I have the original formula and it's great when my lips are dry or cracked. I put it on at night. This one comes in a light pink or as they call it "Rosy" color. It also has a slight rose scent. Yum!!!

I picked up another Almay Liquid Lip Balm in 500 Pink Pout. This will be the third color I've purchased. These are great! Very moisturizing and have just the right amount of color when applied. They are slightly sticky which makes them long wearing...so if you don't like that, I'd skip these.

All Wet n' Wild was 40% off. This little guy had a $1 off coupon on him (score!) not like I needed more neutral shadows but they're really pretty!

A friend of mine (you know who you are) recommended these to me. She applies a coat of the orange tube, let's it dry slightly, then applies a coat of the purple tube. For a few bucks a pop, you can't beat them.

Lastly, I stocked up on my one and only hairspray. They were 2/$8. Great hairspray, if you've followed me for a while you know how much I LOVE it!

Well, that's all the goods. Look for more information on these products in a future review. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

*Disclaimer: All products mentioned were purchased with my own money.

  2. Have you tried the Herbal Essence hair sprays? I use the one in the blue can and I love it. I used to be loyal to the Tresseme spray you have here but I bought the other one on a whim and now there's no going back. lol

    Great post.

    1. I haven't... Since I started using this I haven't tried anything else. When my hair was longer I could get away with different sprays because I didn't really need it to hold my style. Now that it's shorter I have to have something that holds my style but still allows movement. MAYBE next time I'm out I'll try it. Lol I bet it smells amazing! I love Herbal Essence :)

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
