Hello again!
Fall is just around the corner. I don't know about you but I LOVE Fall! It's by far my favorite season. The leaves change color, the weather is cooler, you can wear scarves! I could go on and on but I'll spare you. With Fall comes deeper/darker makeup trends. Today we will be talking specifically about lipstick. I'm going to share some of my go-to shades for the cooler months.
I must admit that wearing a dark lip color is something I recently started to enjoy. I tend to wear a nudes or pinks, so going for a deeper shade was WAY out of my comfort zone. How did I get comfortable wearing berry, plum, or dare I say red!? Simple...I just did! Sure it was weird at first but after getting used to it, I loved it! If you're weary of wearing it out of the house, do what I did. Put it on at home. That way you'll get used to seeing yourself in it before going out in public.
Let's see some photos shall we??
Red lipstick is so glamorous isn't it? I think it's one of those timeless colors. It looks amazing on all skin tones (once you find the right shade)
My favorite classic red is Certainly Red by Revlon.
A deep berry is perfect for Fall. It's bold, deep, and beautiful. AND don't forget, a bold lip means less work on the eye makeup. Score!!
My favorite berry is Blissful Berry by Maybelline.
This next shade is so funny to me. If you didn't know the "90's lip color" is a big hit. It just so happens that I really started wearing makeup in that 90's so I've always been a fan of the "90's lip" What is the 90's lip??? A brown-ish color! Sorry but I must have missed the memo where that went out of style! I've always loved that look.
My Favorite brown-ish shade is Mocha Mauve by Laura Geller.
This last one falls in the nude category. It's too beautiful not to mention. This color has been a long time favorite and I wear it year round. It's just gorgeous! Everytime I wear it I fall in love all over again. Perfect nude shade!
