10 Products I Can't Live Without

Hello again,
Today I will share 10 products I can't live without, and by live without I mean, I use them almost everyday.

In no specific order...
Here they are!

#1: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Awesome concealer! By far the best drugstore concealer I've tried. I've heard it's comparable to a Nars concealer. But I don't even want to know how expensive that one is! I use this concealer all around my face and even under my eyes sometimes. It doesn't crease, it's light weight, and blends easily. Great stuff!

#2: Eyelash Curler
Random! But seriously, I can't go without curling my lashes. My lashes just don't stand up on their own. I used the ELF curler for years (it's only $1!) but the last one I got seemed different so I picked up an NYC curler and it works great.

#3: NYX Dewy Setting Spray
Love, love LOVE this setting spray. I lightly spritz my face after I finish my makeup and it transforms any foundation into a lovely, fresh, dewy finish. Most of the time I use a powder foundation (Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten). This foundation isn't "powdery" on it's own but it does have a kind of flat finish to it. When sprayed with this it's beautiful!

#4: EOS Lipbalm
This little "eggs" are all over my house. I use them non-stop. By far my favorite lipbalm! I have tried just about every scent/flavor/color of these things! They are long lasting. Non-greasy. and very moisturizing. If you haven't tried this product I highly recommend it!

#5: TresEmme Tres Two Hairspray
Really?!? I had the nerve to put this is yet ANOTHER blog post? Yep! Love the stuff. I haven't used another brand of hairspray since I started using this. It holds any style in place. It's not crunchy or stiff. I'm telling you girls, you've got to try this stuff!

#6: Badger Soothing Shea Butter Cuticle Care
Another product I have mentioned before. This stuff is amazing. Very nourishing, it's not greasy or goopy. If you're on the hunt for a cuticle cream you should pick this up.

#7: ELF HD Undereye Setting Powder
I was weary of this product when I first opened it because there are tiny specks of glitter in it. Don't fret! You can't see the glitter on your skin (unless you look really close in direct sunlight). I apply this lightly under my eyes with a small fluffy brush and it works great at setting my concealer. It doesn't crease at all! And I have fine lines under my eyes. I believe this was $3 at Target. Definitely worth the money.

#8: Revlon Teasing Brush
This bad boy is the key in my voluminous hair! My secret is out! haha. I really like this brush because it takes the damage and tons of effort out of teasing (or back combing) my hair. I gently tease the areas I'd like extra volume and smooth it out with a comb. Wah-la! Volume!

#9: Milani Brow Kit
Up until a few years ago I wasn't one to fill in my brows. Other time I noticed they started to thin so I felt the need to fill them in. I've tried a variety of brow products and this one is by far my favorite. I use it every day...even on light makeup days. The shades are perfect to blend together and get a full but not over done brow.

#10: Rimmel ScandalEyes Kohl Liner in Nude
I never, and I mean NEVER do my makeup without this baby in my waterline! It instantly brightens up your eyes. I'm not a big fan of dark colors in the water line and white seems too harsh for me. This nude shade is perfect. It lasts a long time in the water line and doesn't irritate my eyes. I've had this pencil for months and I still have plenty of product left. Love it!

That concludes my "10 Products I Can't Live Without". I hope you enjoyed it.
What are some of your must haves?

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
