No Makeup Makeup

Hello to all of you beauties!

We all have days when we don't feel like piling on a ton of makeup. Or maybe you have to get out of the house quick to take the kiddos somewhere. Whatever the case may be, this makeup look is quick, easy, and gets you out the door!

As always clean your pretty little face! We are skipping moisturizer today. Don't worry, we are using a multi-tasking product instead. I do still apply a primer (Maybelline Baby Skin) and an eye cream. I've been using this depuffing eye cream from Desert Essence. Great stuff!

Ok, let's get this barn painted. Ready, Set, Go!

Step 1: Our multi-tasker is a CC (or BB) cream. Pick whatever kind suits your skin needs. I have found this CC cream has better coverage than any BB cream I've tried. It really evens out the skin tone and cuts down the need for as much concealer.

Step 2: Conceal your under eyes. My favorite under eye concealer is Maybelline Instant Age Rewind for dark circles. I use the Brightening and Light shade together.

Step 3: I can't go without filling in my brows nowadays. Today I won't be doing full on brows. Meaning using 5 different products. If you have to fill in your brows like me, try to use a pencil on days like this. It makes the process A LOT easier.

Step 4: A cream blush is a fast/no makeup looks best friend. Sweep Maybelline Pink Rose across your cheeks and blend in for a subtle yet healthy glow.

Step 5: Curl the heck out of those lashes and apply Mascara. I always have a tube of Covergirl Clump Crusher. This stuff is great!

That's it! I'm sure you keep a chapstick in your purse or car. So slap some of that on and you're set. If that's not fast and easy I don't know what is. I hope this will get you off to where you need to be.

Until next time…
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
