Warm Bronze Eyes

Hello everyone!
My allergies have been bothering me so bad lately that my eyes have been watering non-stop! So I knew when I did this eye look that it had to be something that would last through all the watering and take to focus of my swollen and irritated eyes.

Here is a picture of the final look...

Here is how I created it!

I grabbed for my adorable PB&J Palette because I haven't used it nearly enough and it had the shade I was wanting to use for this look.

I applied "Extra Creamy" all over the lid, from lashline to brow.

I applied "Peanut Butter" in the crease with a fluffy brush.

Using a small crease brush I applied "Peanut Buttet Cup" to the outer corner. This shadow is so pretty!!

To warm it up a little bit more, I added "Nuts about U" over the top of "Peanut Butter Cup". I only applied a tiny amount.

Use a fluffy brush and blend!

To brighten up the eye, I applied "Extra Creamy" to the browbone, inner corner, and inner part of my lid.

I smudged some "Peanut Butter Cup" under the lower lashline.

Curled my lashes, applied a winged liner with waterproof liquid liner, and applied a good amount of mascara. This liner is by the brand Prestige. I believe I got this at Ulta. It's in the shade black brown and this stuff really is waterproof! I didn't get a single smudge all day.

and we are done!!
Let's take a closer look at the finished eyes.

I think these colors look so pretty on green eyes. They really make the eyes POP!  And the liquid liner helps disguise the puffiness in my eyelids.

I hope that you all enjoyed this post and will give this look a try! Please let me know if you have any requests.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
