Rimmel BB Cream Review

Hello everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I am going to share my review on 3 BB Cream's from Rimmel. All of them are very different and I have a good idea of which ones I like and which ones I don't!

The orange cap is the radiance formula.
The blue is the original formula.
The purple is the matte formula.
Before I get into the individual reviews I want to point out that this is a very affordable product and is available anywhere that drugstore products are sold. It does come in a small tube but I have found that it doesn't take very much product to get a good amount of coverage so it will last you quite a while. Even if you use it every day, like me!
My favorite way to apply this is with a damp real techniques sponge. I prefer the matte formula and I use it every day.

Now on to the individual reviews!

The radiance formula is the worst one of the bunch in my opinion. It looks so pretty swatched on the back of my hand but it looks patchy and doesn't blend well at all! I've tried a damp sponge, a brush, my fingers and nothing will give me an even coverage. So I haven't been using this at all! I'm actually going to pass it along to a friend who really likes this formula.

The original formula was the first BB Cream I tried in this line. I picked it up before a vacation because the last thing I want to do on vacation is spend a bunch of time getting ready in the morning. I use this with a damp sponge and my fingers and it blends nicely. It gives me a natural coverage but I do have to set my t-zone with powder otherwise I will be a grease ball a few hours in.

My favorite of the bunch is the matte formula! I use this daily and even wore it for family photos. It looks like you have foundation on but it doesn't give you that cakey, heavy looking skin. I blend this in with a damp sponge and I love the way it looks. I'm currently on my second tube of this stuff and I don't see myself switching to anything else any time soon.

I hope that you all enjoyed this post. What BB Creams have you tried? I'm always curious about other brands.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
