I went shopping!

Hello again,
Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!

Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.

Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.

I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a tiny terra cotta tile (it's in the bottom of the compact). The different shades balance n brighten your skin, hence the name.

These lipsticks came as a trio called "Cream Couture" they are all matte. The swatches coordinate with the lipsticks. Left to Right: Mocha Mauve, Mocha Rose, and Sweet Peach. All very soft and smooth. Not drying at all. They have a minty scent to them.

I instantly fell in love with this product. Spackle is what Laura Geller calls her primer and I think the name is funny because in a sense that's what primer is, right? It's in the shade Ethereal. As you can see it's a gorgeous, iridescent shade. It gives your skin the most "ethereal" looking glow. Love it!

These little babies were on sale at Walgreens so of course, they were mine! I own several Eco Tools brushes. They're soft, maintain their shape, and don't shed. I have to admit I'm not a big fan of dual ended brushes but they're good to have for traveling.

I've been dealing with dry skin on my face for a few weeks now because of the cold weather. I decided to give this a try. I used it last night and it is very refreshing and soothing. I'll let you know more about it in a few weeks.

Wet n Wild had a new display out. Mostly nail polishes and two new six pan palettes. This is the polish that caught my eye. I painted my nails with it last night and it's beautiful. A very light lilac color. Definitely use two coats. Can't beat the $1.99 price!

Maybelline came out with these blush sticks recently. I've wanted to try them for sometime but made myself wait till they were buy one get one 50% off. This color is so pretty! Above the heavy swatch is it blended out. It has the prettiest shimmer to it. They aren't sticky at all and almost have a powdery feel to them when you blend them. Can't wait to wear it.

This was part of the BOGO 50% off deal from above. These are new as well. Very shimmery and pretty. It's hard to tell from the swatch but I have a light, medium, and dark swatch. Just from selecting different areas in the product. Looking forward to trying this one as well.

Last but certainly not least is my newest  lippy obsession. I'm sure you've seen these before in previous posts. Jordana Twist & Shine in Sweet Pink. This is the 3rd shade I've bought. These are great. Very moisturizing and last a good amount of time. They aren't drying like most stains. I believe they're $2.99.

I told you that was a long one! Thanks for hanging in there with me. If you'd like reviews on any of the products mentioned please let me know.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

*Disclaimer: All products mentioned were purchased with my own money.

  2. Sorry I thought I responded to this from my phone! I really like it. It's a gel cream so it has an interesting texture. Definitely helps with dry skin.

  3. The voyer in me loves hauls and I really enjoy them more so in a blog format than on you tube. I adore the clump crusher.

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...
