Empties-Products I've used up!

Hello again!
Thanks for stopping by. Today I'll be talking about some products I've used up recently. I'll give a brief product description and review on each item.

I've been collecting these for several weeks now. As you can see, they're mostly beauty related items. Now that I think of it...most of these are products are repurchases. Ok, enough rambling. Let's get started.

First thing out of the bag is my beloved hair spray. I've mentioned this is previous posts. It's the only hair spray I use. I can't tell you how many of these I've gone through. It holds your style all day without feeling sticky or crunchy. Great stuff. If you haven't tried it I definitely recommend it!

Hand soaps. Is this a weird thing to share? No? Anyways, I love this foaming soap from Bath & Body Works. I have various scents throughout the house. Great stuff, rinses clean, smells amazing! I stock up when it's on sale.

e.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set. This is my wanna be MAC Fix +. I use this when I'm going to work and don't want to "waste" the good stuff. I don't think it works as well as my other setting sprays but it does it's job. My one complaint is the nozzle. It shoots out huge drops of product instead of an even spray so watch out for that if you use it. This sells for about $3 at Target or online.

Tree Hut Sugar Scrub. Oh how I love thee! This is hands down my favorite sugar scrub. I've tried this is numerous scents and they're all great. I use this all over my body about once a week. I also give my legs a quick scrub before shaving. Great stuff.

I used this for my daily moisturizer and I really liked it. It's very lightweight and doesn't make your skin oily. I would have repurchased another one by now but I'm trying to use up a few things before I buy anything new.

Two of my favorite mascaras and both by Covergirl. Super thick lash is an old school product. It can be found near the bottom of the display and is about $3-$4! It's definitely worth checking out. It really does give you super thick lashes. As for Clump Crusher. This was in my Favorites post so be sure to check that out for more information on this product. I also used up a tube of Covergirl Lash Blast Volume (Purple tube). It's not in the photo because I threw it away without thinking about it.

I got my money's worth out of these eye primers. Sorry for the beat up labels. The black tube is NYX HD Eye Shadow Base. The nude tube is e.l.f. eye lid primer (I could be off on the names) Both are sheer formulas. No color correcting with these. Just your basic eye primers. I can't say I'll repurchase the NYX one because the e.l.f. one works just as well and is only $1!

I went through another Out The Door topcoat. This was also in my favorites post. I love this product because it dries super fast. I may love to paint my nails but I hate waiting for them to dry. Without this stuff my nails would be a wreck!

And last but certainly not least, makeup wipes. This is one thing I switch up often. Nothing special about these except they burn the you-know-what out of my eyes. As far as removing my other makeup, they did a pretty good job. I also like that the packaging has what I call a "trap door". Haha! The little plastic closure instead of the resealable kind. I find the wipes don't dry out with a trap door.

Well, that's it for my empties. I hope you enjoyed it and were introduced to a product you weren't familiar with. Please let me know if you'd like to see more of these in the future.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

*Disclaimer: All products mentioned were purchased with my own money.

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
