Adela's Favorites: Random...again

Hey guys!
Hope you've all had a good week so far. Today we're talking favorites...again.
I'm sharing several products I've been using a lot lately.
Let's jump right in!

First up is an old school product for me. I've used Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner (this scent/type specifically) for YEARS! I have to admit when I spotted this I let a little squeel out! I love the scent and it makes my hair so soft and smooth. One bonus is the scent lingers in your hair long after you've washed it.

These are scented satchets I use in our closets and dresser drawers. I've purchased these in a varitey of scents over the years. They are sold at Michael's or Bed, Bath & Beyond. They come in a 3 pack for about $4.

If you've followed me for a time then you know how much I love Baby Skin. I know there are a lot of mixed reviews on this product but personally I can't get enough of it. I will say that it'd be nice if Maybelliene offered it in a larger tube.

Meet Matt(e) is a rediscovered favorite of mine. I purchased this a while back when it was on Hautelook and I loved the heck out of it back then. It got lost in the shuffle of moving and my out of control makeup stash. I recently stumbled upon it and fell in love all over again. For those of you that aren't familiar with it...it's an all matte palette (as the name implies) the shadows are highly pigmented. If you haven't tried matte shadows you should give them a whirl. You'd be surprised with the look they give. (Do I feel an all matte eye tutorial coming on??? Let me know if you'd like one)

Instant love alert with this little gem. I picked this up on a whim. Assuming I wouldn't like it because I used to be a gel eyeliner only girl. This is AWESOME!!! It's Covergirl Bombshell liquid liner in Chocolate Kiss. It has a very small felt tip that allows you to create a very thin line.

Another instant love is this blush! It's a bright/hot pink MATTE blush. Now I like a nice sparkle in my blush from time to time but this matte color is gorgeous. It's highly pigmented so apply it with a light hand.

Dream Lumi conclear in Radiant is another favorite. If you're into highlighting your face without the shimmer this product is for you. I apply this in a triangle under my eyes and around my nose area. It blends in easily and lasts a long time (all day for me)

Ok, I'll admit it. I'm a setting spray junkie! This one might just be my favorite out of all of the ones I own. Most days I prefer a glowy or dewy look to my skin. I think it's more youthful looking and day time appropriate. One little spritz of this and BAM! You're dewy! Love it!

This scent is always a spring/summer favorite. It's fruity, fresh, and delicious! I bought this last year along with the body cream. To make the scent last longer I apply the body cream and then apply the spray.

Last but not least is this Dove body wash. Another product I've purchased several times in a varitey of scents. This one in particular is the most delicious scent I've tried so far! Pistachio Cream with Magnolia. So good! I hope this isn't a limited edition because I love it so much.

Well, that wraps up my 10 favorites. I hope you enjoyed it and were introduced to a new product. If you have any questions on any of the items mentioned please let me know.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

*Disclaimer: All products mentioned were purchased with my own money.

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
