Hello again,
Today's look is one of my favorites. The red lips are festive and perfect for this time of year. If you're short of time this will be great to get to out the door to your event.
Here's how I achieved today's look...
I usually would have applied my foundation, concealer, and brows before I start my eye shadows. Because I am using tape to help me achieve a nice edge to our shadows and liner I am going to apply the other products after my eyes are done. If you'd like to use the tape method, take a piece of scotch tape and apply it to the back of your hand several times to remove some of the tackiness. Then apply it to your face (in line with your lower lash line at an angle).
These are the lashes I chose. I love the effect the different lash lengths give. You'll notice in the photo below I have one on my left eye. See how much falsies can change your eye look?!
Now for the wow factor, those gorgeous red lips! Line your lips with a nude or red lip liner and apply your favorite shade of red lipstick. If you are weary about red lipsticks, use a lip brush for more control. If you happen to make any smudges, just fix them with a small brush and some concealer. I didn't take pics of this step because I was on my way to an Ugly Sweater Party (the photo of the completed look was taken hours after I applied this makeup. I didn't touch up my face or lips at all during that time. As you can see this makeup lasted me all night!) I used Tawny lip liner by Jordana and Certainly Red lipstick by Revlon.

Prime your lids with your favorite eye primer. Take a fluffy brush and apply a light to medium shadow from your crease up towards your browbone. I am using Soft Brown by MAC. This will serve as our transition color.
Using a crease brush and a dark brown shadow, I am using Faint from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. Deepen your crease as little or as much as you'd like. I kept it pretty light because I want the focus to be on the lips.
Using the same brush and a dark brown almost black shadow, I used Crave from the Naked Basics palette. Slightly darken the outer corner and bring the tiniest bit into the crease.
Now to blend, take a fluffy shadow brush with nothing on it and swirl, windshield wiper motion, and fluff your way to a soft look. If you have a hard time blending your shadows, take a small amount of the transition shade you used earlier (Soft Brown) and apply it over the shadows to blend. If you loose some of the darkness, go back in and add more.
Apply a shimmery champagne shadow to the inner corner using your finger and a small detail brush.

For the brow highlight I chose a matte shadow that matches my skin tone. You can use the shimmery shadow for this but I wanted all the shimmer on the lid.
Using a liner brush and a brown gel liner, I used Dark Brown from Maybelline. Start at the center of your eye and draw the line out towards the tape. Flip your brush around and follow the tape. You don't want to bring the wing out past your crease. Then connect the wing to the line and fill it in. If you want to continue bringing your line to the inside of your eye feel free. I bring mine all of the the way in.
Remove the tape so we can finish our lower lash line.
~~I applied foundation, concealer, contour, blush, highlight, and brows before the next step~~
Back to the shadows we go!
I know, this tutorial is all over the place but getting gorgeous takes work sometimes! Using a smudge brush and a dark brown (Crave), smudge it along the lower lashline. Then take the light brown (Soft Brown) and really blend the color out. When you're done blending you shouldn't be able to tell that two different colors there.
I coated my upper and lower lashes with mascara to prep them for the falsies.
