I Went Shopping! Sephora

Hello and Happy Monday to you!

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram (and if you don't, you should!) then you probably saw my posts this morning about a Sephora package I received today. Yay!

It's not a huge order by any means. I was given a gift card a few weeks ago and used it on some products I have been eyeing for a while now. I will link to each item on Sephora's website in case you want to get them for yourself.

Let's meet the new members of the beauty team!

Fresh Sugar Lip Petites~
I have heard amazing things about this brand. I think I may have even owned one of these lip treatments years ago, I think it was in a brown tube. I couldn't wait to get my hands on these tiny little things. They are precious. They come in this adorable metal box, with a mirror in the lid. The lip treatments are all travel sized tubes. Perfect to throw in your purse or pocket.

Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Shadow Collection~
I fell in love with Too Faced shadows after I got the Chocolate Bar Palette. The shadows are so soft and blend so easily. You know I love me some matte shadows so of course this one had to be mine.
This palette is in a nice metal tin that is printed with lace. It has 3 larger shadows and 6 smaller shadows. I cannot wait ti use this!

Birthday Gift~
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella & Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien. If you are part of the Sephora Beauty Insider then you should take advantage of the birthday gifts they give you each year. You can redeem them online or in store- just keep your voucher with you. They do change from year to year. Last year I got a cute little set from Makeup Forever, I believe it came with a tiny mascara and lipstick.

That's it! I can't wait to play with these. If you'd like a more in depth review on any of these, please let me know.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
