Morphe 35T Palette: Swatches and First Impressions

Hello everyone!

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you all had a great New Years weekend. I wish I could say I was put living it up but I was laid up sick all weekend. I know, boo! That being said I didn't wear a bit of makeup and thought I'd spare you the pain of looking at my sick mug in a tutorial. Haha! So I figured, why not swatch another Morphe palette!? Today I am showing swatches on the 35T palette and let me tell you, she is a beauty!!

Let's get to it!

Row 1-

It was love at first swatch with this palette. The metallics are out of this world! The mattes are creamy and smooth.

Row 2-

This row is picking up the metallic goodness in these shadows. This is going to have me throwing my matte palettes out the door (no, Adela. NO!)

Row 3-

The first shadow in this palette is a gorgeous duo chrome. When I first saw it I was instantly reminded of this Urban Decay shadow I had years ago. I can't remember the name of it but it was a reddish/brown/greenish shade. I know that might sound weird or even ugly but I promise you, it's gorgeous! I can't wait to plaster my eyes with these shadows!

Row 4-

Again with the metallics! Ugh!!! I'll let the swatches speak for themselves. They're gorgeous!

Row 5-

And lastly we have the dark vampy ladies of the group. Most of these are matte which I love! I find it easier to use a matte dark shadow than a shimmer or metallic shadow. The two metallics in this group are the second to the last, a insanely beautiful copper shade and the last, a charcoal grey. I love them!

If you haven't guessed it by now, I am

blown away, yet again by this Morphe Palette. I have to say that for the quality of these shadows I don't think the price they are listed at is outrageous by any means. However, if you're a bargain hunter like me then scoop these babies up next time they're on Hautelook (like I did) You won't be sorry! Since I've posted 2 of the 3 I purchased, I will soon swatch the last one for you. Once I am feeling better I will do some tutorials so you can see these in action. I might even put up a little bonus video on the blog group using these so keep your eyes peeled for that. I hope you all enjoyed this post as much as you did the last one. Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me) Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst. Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well. An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one! Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product. Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL!
