Hello again!
I primed my lids and applied this mauve shadow slightly above my crease and blended it up towards my brow bone. I added a bit more shadow into the crease to start adding depth to that area.
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I am FINALLY getting over the cold/illness/horrible thing that has taken my body hostage. Yay! Which means I actually played with pretty makeup and busted out that gorgeous Morphe 35T palette I posted about last week. I did full swatches and gave my first impressions in that post and I will link it at the bottom of this post, for those of you that missed it.
For this look I decided to go with some of the beautiful plums and berries in this palette. You all know how much I adore my neutral shades but this was so pretty that I know I'll wear shadows like these more often now.
Here is a picture of the finished look...
On to the tutorial!
Using the same brush, I applied this deep berry shadow to my outer corner and crease. This shadow blended like a dream!! I was so impressed.
I knew I wanted something shimmery for my lid and I had the perfect shadow picked out. However, I wanted to kick the shadow up a notch so I applied this cream eyeshadow thing from elf as a base. I have no idea what shade this is because there is not a sticker on it but I believe this is the only pink one they have so if you want it, just get the pink one.
And here is the shadow I picked out! It's a really pretty shimmery pink shade. I packed this all over my lid with a flat brush.
I used a small crease brush to apply this gorgeous dark plum shadow to my outer corner and brought it into my crease creating a "V" shape in that area. Now, if I was wearing this at night I would had added more of this shadow as well as a matte black in the outer corner to really make it dark and smokey.
I smudged these two purple shadows on my lower lash line.
I decided to go for a matte highlight because I wanted the focus to stay on the shimmery lid. I used NYX Whipped Cream eye shadow for my browbone and the inner corner. This shadow can be very chalky and white if you're not careful but if you use a small amount, like I did here, it will look nice and bright.
I curled my lashes and applied a black gel liner, which I haven't used for the longest time. Usually I would go in with a black pen type liner and I think I actually prefer that more over the gel now. I applied mascara to the top and bottom lashes and lined my waterline with a nude pencil.
And we're done!!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! You don't have to have this palette to recreate this look. Just pull out similar shadows and apply them the same way I did and you're all set! If you give this a try, please share your pictures on Instagram and tag me (ADELAWITHONEL) I'd love to see them!
Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela
