Hi everyone,
It's time for some empties! I recently switched over to a smaller container to house my empties so hopefully these posts won't be so far apart and contain so many products. Also, I know I threw a ton of products out as I was prepping my beauty room so these are the things I have accumulated since the beauty room had been in use. If this is your first empties post, first of all, Welcome to my blog! I'm glad you're here. I am going to tell you a bit about each product and tell you if I plan on repurchasing it or not.
Let's get started...
First out of the bin was this face wash. I've used this face wash several times and enjoy the scent of it. I only use this in the morning (as the name implies). It leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry. I probably will repurchase next time I'm in Target but for the time being I am using a similar product from Walmart.
Here is a close up of the label just in case you'd like to try it yourself.
Next we have this body wash. I LOVE this body wash! I've had really good luck with the aromatherapy line from Bath & Body Works. Because they are made with essential oils they really do help calm you down. Or energize you if you get that kind. I stock up on these when they are on sale. I will definitely repurchase (when my back ups get low)
Again a close up in case you want to read it. Ps I'm a weirdo that reads the entire label on my products so I wanted to include close ups for you fellow weirdos. Haha
The best invention for people such as myself that hate to put on lotion. I don't know if I'm lazy, just hate the way my clothes stick after I apply lotion, or I'm a secret lotion boycotter. Whatever it is, I'm horrible at putting on lotion. So I rarely let myself buy any. Until this love came into my life! This sprays on, runs in like a dream, and absorbs into the skin almost instantly. I can spray it on and get dressed without the sticky feeling. Thank you Vaseline!!! I already have a new one of these I have been using.
Now for the close up...
This is the only shave cream we use. It is very moisturizing and doesn't make my legs break out after I shave. We love this stuff! I do wish they'd change te packaging so we don't have to constantly cut them open to get the rest out (which we will do after this post) I keep at least one of these on hand at all times.
And the label...
I know we went through a ton of these but they got thrown out. This was the only one I snagged up and took into my lair. Sometimes I feel like a fancy pants and buy expensive foaming hand soap. Other times I come back down to earth and buy the less expensive but equally as good, Dial foaming hand soap. I do have a bunch of these in my stash but I only buy them when they're on sale and I have a coupon.
My favorite makeup wipes ever. I need to get more of these soon. I picked up the Target brand of these and they are drying my eyes out. So clearly something is different in the formula. I'm sticking to the Simple brand from now on.
The close up...
I managed to fit a bit of pampering into my schedule recently and used these. The eye masks were good. I stock up on these when I go to TJMaxx. These were the last pair I had so I need to go again and get more. This Tony Moly mask was BOMB! I love this mask so much. It was the best one is ever used. I am definitely getting more.
My beloved NYX Matte setting spray. You guys know I love it and can't go without it. The elf spray is good but it just doesn't compare to the NYX one. I don't plan on repurchasing the elf one any time soon. I do however want to try the new sprays they came out with.
I finished off one of my favorite mascaras, a bare minerals foundation, and one of my favorite chap sticks. I have already repurchased all 3 of them. The Rimmel brow gel I will not repurchase because way too much product comes out on the wand and the clear tube makes it too easy to see the nastiness the clear gel turns into. The perfume sample is Be Delicious which I have since ordered a ginourmous bottle of.
Shower cap had to go because it got musty and that's nasty!
My favorite top coat ever!!! I have a few of these in my nail bin.
Ugggh!!! If you saw my Get Ready With Me video I posted on the FB blog group then you know I despise these! If you didn't watch the video then the emojis will get the point across.
I threw my wax empties in here instead of the Home Edition empties because I haven't been getting good feed back on those posts so I may take those out of the Adela Told Me programming. So if you enjoyed them, now is the time to speak up!
I'm not going to even attempt to give you scent descriptions because I'm horrible at that and to be honest I wasn't 100% thrilled with any of these. The scents were nice but they didn't last nearly quite as long at this brand of wax has lasted me in the past. Which is why I went through so many. I don't know if I will be repurchasing from this company. Besides the wax I melt from them when in sick. It's called "Linus has a sinus". It's basically Vick's in wax form.
That is it everyone! I hope you enjoyed this post. I hope you have a good rest of the week and I will see you back on Friday.
Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela
