Skincare Update: Perfectly Posh

Hello again,

Today I want to give you an update on the Perfectly Posh Skincare I purchased recently. I have been using these products for a few weeks and just as I suspected...I LOVE THEM!
I am a skincare junkie. I have tried so many different brands over the years, the high end, the affordable, and everything in between. Still I had yet to find products that I truly loved and noticed a difference in my skin. My friend, Teresa gave me some tips on what to purchase for my skin needs and she hit the nail on the head with these products. In fact, I am so blown away that I am going to purchase more before I run out of these babies.

~Impish Eyes~
I had to pick Impish Eyes as the first thing I show you guys. My under eyes are puffy, creasy, and dark. Again, I have tried everything to try to get these things under control. I was very intrigued by this because of the rollerball applicator. I have had good luck with rollerballs helping to fight puffiness in the past but they were only a temporary fix. Impish Eyes is completely different! I use this stuff after I wash my face in the morning (and at night) and the puffiness is GONE! Even with allergy season...GONE!  I have also noticed that the dryness under my eyes isn't there anymore and therefore my fine lines are less visible (which also means my concealer doesn't sink into them. YAY!) Another thing, and it could just be that I am getting more sleep, but the dark circles seem to be the slightest bit lighter. I'm telling you right now, if this thing is brightening those circles I am buying stock in this product. haha!

~Complexion Perfection Face Wash~
I can't wait to wash my face with this. It feels so good on my skin and has really changed my complexion. I was having some major texture issues after a few weeks of using this that weird texture is GONE!

~Moisturize 911 Caffenated Face Creme~

I was a little worried about using this both day and night. I've always used an am and pm moisturizer. Not anymore! This stuff is awesome! It's the prefect about of moisture for my skin. It doesn't make my oily areas more oily and holds up nicely under makeup. Plus it had a very nice cities scent. What's not to love about that?!

Needless to say, I love these products and I highly recommend them. If you've tried anything from Perfectly Posh please let me know. I would love to hear your thoughts. I hope that you all enjoyed this post and found it helpful.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
