First Impressions: Perfectly Posh

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing something very exciting with you all! In case you haven't heard...I am now an Independent Consultant for Perfectly Posh! You have heard me talk about these products over the past couple of months and I was so impressed by them that I had to get in on the action. I will link to all of my Posh related websites down below so you can check them out for yourself and if you would like some samples of these products please contact me and I will gladly send some to you.

When you sign up to be an Independent Consultant you have two kits to choose from. These kits are filled with TONS of products! Most of them were new to me so of course I have been trying them out. I have not been able to try very many products from the kit but the ones I have tried have really impressed me! I'm serious guys, I'm not just saying this because I'm an Independent Consultant. I have been testing these products in the same way I do with anything else on my blog. I keep waiting for a bad product to come up and so far, nothing! I can't believe it. I know that if you try Posh, you will love it too!

Now for the stars of the show: the products!

The Girl's Gone Green Body Butter~
This stuff is AMAZING! I hate lotion, HATE it! So much that I never apply it unless I absolutely have to, meaning my skin is so dry that it's itching me. So body butter doesn't stand a chance with me! I have tried high and low end lotions and body butters in the past and I have yet to find one that sinks into my skin, doesn't make me feel sticky, and actually makes my skin FEEL moisturized...
UNTIL I tried this! I thought for sure that I would not like this product AT ALL. and to be honest that is why I chose this as the first product I tried. This is everything I had ever hoped a body butter would be. It smells great, it's thick but not heavy feeling, it moisturizes my skin, and it doesn't leave the slightest bit of tackiness behind! I am able to get dressed right after applying this without any problems. Here is the true test...Mr. hates lotion more than I do and he let me use this on him! AND he liked it! So I think you guys get the point, this stuff is BOMB! (Yes, I said Bomb haha) I am definitely going to be ordering this in a different scent soon!

San Juan Shaker Pineapple and Coconut Lip Scrub~
I am a huge fan of lip scrubs. I've tried several different brands over the years and I was hooked on the Lush one. One thing I don't like about the Lush one is that the sugar is very loosely packed into the jar so it goes everywhere when you use it. Like, I have to lean over my sink while I use it otherwise it will get all over the place. Another thing is that it didn't make my lips feel moisturized after I use it. Well, Posh answered my prayers and made the perfect lip scrub! This scrub is moisturizing, tastes delicious, and doesn't get all over the place when you use it. I tried this with one of my friends and she was blown away! We sat there "oohing" and "aweing" as we used this scrub. Our lips were so moisturized and felt so soft and were not irritated at all. This baby is definitely high on my recommendation list.

So far those are the only products I have tried from my kit. I will be putting these products to the test over the next couple weeks. As more products become available, I will test those as well. If you have any questions about Perfectly Posh Products, please don't hesitate to ask! All of my links will be below.

Until Next Time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
