10 Under $10

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing 10 of my favorite products under $10. I was thinking about doing a "tools" version of one of these (brushes, sponges, etc.) Please let me know if that's something you'd be interested in. Let's get to the products!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara-
First off, I had to mention my favorite mascara of all time! I've used this since it came out and I fell in love with it! I have recommended this to so many friends and they all love it. Maybelline knocked it out of the park with this one!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer-
This product was a must for this post. I can't go without this stuff. In fact I have 3 back ups of this haha! I stock up on this and the mascara above when it's on sale.

NYX Butter Gloss-
By far my favorite gloss at the drugstore. These leave the prettiest gloss on the lips. The colors don't have shimmer in them, which I like. They're creamy and comfortable on the lips and come in a wide range of colors. I use these alone or over the top of lip liner and they're great either way!

Rimmel Matte BB Cream-
I have been wearing this on my skin for over a month now and I love it! It's such a pretty finish. It's matte without looking dry and cakey. It helps keep my oily areas  under control. It gives just the perfect amount of coverage and it doesn't feel heavy in the skin at all.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Powder-
I heard great things about this powder so when I was in the market for one, I knew I had to try this one. I don't regret that purchase AT ALL! This is the silkiest, non powdery looking powder I've ever touched. And for this to be available in the drugstore is awesome! I use this to set my t-zone and it does an amazing job at keeping me matte.

Milani Romantic Rose Blush-
This blush is GORGEOUS!! The search doesn't do it justice. I absolutely love the way this looks on the skin. It can be worn with any look because it is such a neutral shade of pink. Love it!

Rimmel Bronzer in Sunlight-
This bronzer is the perfect shade for my skin. I use this lightly on my skin to add a bit of dimension to my skin. It's completely matte which is perfect to use as a contour. It blends very easily so if you are just getting into bronzer, I think you should give this a try.

Wet n' Wild Highlighting Palette in Catwalk Pink-
I love this thing! I got it not expecting much and I was blown away by the quality of the shades. There is a shade that will work for every skin tone. I searched this below and you can see how the darker pink (3rd color) would be beautiful as a shimmery blush. I can't wait to try that!
The swatches below are without a flash in the upper pic and with a flash in the lower pic. These colors are so pretty!

elf Mad for Matte Palette-
This palette is a great value! I got mine when elf had a 50% off sale but you can't beat these shadows for the full price of $9.99. If you are just getting into matte shadows or are looking for a matte palette to add to your collection this would be a great one to purchase. It's so slim that it's easy to travel with and the range of shadows are great to create a ton of looks with.

elf Prism Palette in Naked-
Another great palette from elf! I got this during the 50% off sale too and I am so happy that I did! I've gotten so much use out of this thing. The shadows are beautiful and shimmery. I love to use this for one shadow looks but I have used the shades together and mixed with the matte palette above to create gorgeous eye looks. They have this in a purple and pink option too and I really want that one.

BFYHC by Perfectly Posh-
This post wouldn't be complete without this product. I absolutely love this stuff. It's by far the best hand creme I've ever used. I loved Soap and Glory Hand Food but I have not touched it since I started using this. It comes in a variety of fragrances and moisturizes so nicely. I keep this with me at all times: nightstand, purse, work. I can't be without this stuff. It's amazing!

That wraps up my 10 under $10. Please let me know if you're interested in the tools version of this. I think that would be fun! I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you back on Wednesday.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
