How to Multi Mask

Hello!
Today we are talking about multi-masking. This is something I was introduced to by Perfectly Posh. As most of you know I am an Independent Consultant for Perfectly Posh and I adore their products. I am a huge fan of face masks so when I learned that I can apply more than one mask at the same time, I was in! The two masks I am using today are:
"I'm Shrinking" is a pore reducing mask. This is meant to be used as a spot treatment which means you only apply this to the areas with large pores. I didn't notice any tingling when I applied this product and it doesn't have a scent to it. My skin was a bit red after I washed my face but that is to be expected after using a face mask. The redenss went away after a few minutes.

"Cackle Spackle" is a detoxifying face mask. This can be used all over the face to pull out all the dirt, makeup, and junkie stuff that clogs your pores. This smells like spearmint and tingles like crazy for the first few minutes that it touches your skin, which I love because I can feel the product working. Again, my skin will be a bit pink but it goes away in a few minutes.

How to Multi Mask...

Step 1:
Start with a clean face. (I used Complexion Perfection Exfoliating face wash)

Step 2:
Apply an even amount of Cackle Spackle to most of my face, making sure to leave the areas with large pores clear.
Let sit for approximately 5 minutes.

Step 3:
Apply I'm Shrinking to the areas with large pores. The reason why I let Cackle Spackle sit for a bit before I applied this mask is because Cackle Spackle can sit on the skin for 5-10 minutes. While I'm Shrinking can sit for 1-3 minutes. By staggering the application, it allows the entire face to be washed at once. I know, I'm a genius. haha!

Step 4:
Take an awesome selfie with your mask on! Then sit back and let them do their thing. Once I got to 10 minutes, I washed my face with warm water and applied Moisturize 911.

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
