Get Ready FAST: My super fast makeup routine

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing the makeup routine I do when I need to get out the door quick. If you want to do a similar routine then my biggest advice to you is to use products that multi-task (or that can be used for more than one thing- you will understand what I mean as we get into the post). This is still a full face of makeup, but it's not a totally glamorous look.

Let's get started!

Before I apply ANY kind of makeup to my face, I wash, moisturize, and apply my eye serum. Of course, these are all Posh products because Posh is the best!
(ps- Click on the big pink "Perfectly Posh Independent Consultant" Logo to check out our amazing, affordable, pampering products!)

I love this priming spray because it applies in a flash and dries quickly. I spritz this all over my face and let it dry for a minute. Most of the time I fan my face so it dries even faster!

Here is multi-tasking product #1. I love this BB Cream! You guys have seen me use this countless times on here and in videos in the group. This is a great multi takes for me because it hides any redness on my skin and therefore, takes away the need for so much concealer. Which means that I can get ready that much faster. See where I'm going with this? I'm a girl on a mission! I have no time for tons of products on days like this! We got to go!

I apply this to the areas of my face: forehead, cheeks, nose, chin. Then blend in using a "bouncing" technique with my Real Techniques Sponge. I use the flat side of the sponge to cover a larger surface. The sponge helps to give me an even, yet not heavy coverage.

Let't cover those dark circles! I used my tried and true Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in the shade 15 because it is great coverage and blends like a dream!

I apply the concealer like this, a little tip I picked up from Wayne Goss, who is a super talented makeup artist on YouTube. This technique really works! You guys have to try it. I blend this in with the pointy side of the sponge we used for our BB Cream.

Enter Multi-takser #2! This powder is a great powder and it is SO affordable! I chose this because it has a great coverage on it's own and it sets my undereyes perfectly.

I had to use a brush to apply this which was a major fail on my part, I had washed ALL of my sponges the morning I did this so I didn't have a dry one to use. Boo! The brush works fine though. I apply a very generous amount under the eyes. I mean, so generous that you think "Adela has lost her mind" Don't worry! We will brush the excess away in about 2 minutes.

2 minutes is going by....

Brush away the excess powder using the same brush you used to apply it. Ta-dah! I'm not so crazy after all am I? haha

Then we use the remaining powder in the lid to set the t-zone. If your face isn't oily, then skip this step.

On to the brows! I chose these two products because they are quick and easy to use.

I fill in the sparse areas first using the pencil. I also take the time to shape them.

Then I brush on the tinted fiber brow gel to add a little more fullness and keep them in place all day.

I like having a little something on my lids but if I am in a true hurry, I skip this step and instead will apply a tiny bit of concealer to my eye lids and then set it with the Airspun powder.
For the sake of the tutorial, I added a lid color. Oh and I forgot to tell you earlier, incase you noticed that I was looking a little sick, I was feeling like complete poo for the past few days!

Back to the eyes!
These Rimmel shadow sticks are awesome! They give you time to blend them but once they are dry, they don't budge! I apply this all over the lid and then gently blend with my finger. No crease color, no brow bone highlight. Just this! I also run some along my lower lash line and smudge that out with my finger too.

I line my lower waterline with a nude liner to open up the eyes and make them look brighter and apply a few coats of mascara.

Multi-tasker #3 is next! We don't have time for a blush AND and highlight today so I picked one that gives a beautiful sheen to the skin on it's own. None other than Pink Grapefruit. I love this blush because it packs a punch. You know the drill with blush: smile awkwardly at yourself and brush some on!

Multi takser #4, where are you???
I always go for this lip stain by it Cosmetics because it leave the pink flush to your lips long after the balm-y-ness is gone. This is a really interesting product because it is clear until it mixes and changes according to your PH. So it looks different on everyone! I apply a few swipes of this and then keep a lip balm with me throughout the day to reapply as needed. Great stuff!

I finish off the face by spraying the life out of it with this Matte Finishing Spray. It gets rid of any powdery look to the skin and keeps everything on lock down!

And we are done! See what I mean by I felt like poo? My eyes are the biggest giveaway when I am feeling icky.  But besides that, I have a fresh, easy, ready for the day makeup look to head out the door with!

And that mascara makes my lashes look amazing!!!

I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial and learned a few new things. Thank you for taking the time to stop by to my crazy little world.

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
