Boxycharm: Bewitched

Hello Beauties!

I received my second Boxycharm yesterday. I have to say, so far I am very pleased with the products I've received...it's like a mini Christmas opening the box! This box contained 5 full sized products. FULL SIZE! Can't complain about that! If you missed my first post about Boxycharm I will link it below. I explained what exactly Boxycharm is in that post so please check it out.

This is what this months box looks like…

They chose a "Bewitched" theme for October. Isn't that cute?!?

These are the products inside…

Ok, ok, I'll get to the products already! Remember, these are first impressions. If you want a review on my last box (or this one) let me know and I will be sure to post it for you.

Palmetto Derma Collagen Booster & Restoration Serum-
I am all about trying products like this! This serum contains Vitamin C & E and Hyaluronic Acid. Sounds serious! The card says this protects from premature aging and gives you youthful and glowing skin. We will see about that! Oh, one special thing I'd like to point out is that this isn't tested on animals (look for the bunny logo)

Costal Scents Eclipse Concealer Palette-
Amazing!!! I can't wait to highlight and contour the heck out of my face with this. This contains 15 concealers. The packaging is very slim and would be great to travel with.

Cult/Commerce X Boxycharm"Shady" Collection-
Shimmery black and dark purple polishes. They are both nice colors. Don't really have too much to say about these at this point. Can't wait to try these.

Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow in All Nighter-
A very pigmented black shadow with silver shimmer.

Starlook Ulta Gem Pencil in Ultra Olive-
Glittery olive green pencil. Very soft and smooth to apply. Blends easily. I noticed A LOT of glitter when I blended it out. I will probably use this as a base and as a pencil. It is a really pretty color.

That's all the goods. What did you think of this box? PLEASE let me know if you want a review on the products I receive in these boxes!

Until next time…
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
