Hey there!

Today I will talk about a few new products that were sent to me for review. I've been using them now for the past few weeks so let's see what I think!

The first product I will share is The InstaNatural Youth Express Vitamin C Moisturizer.

What's in it?
20% Vitamin C
5% Niacinamide
5% Hyaluronic Acid
Plant Stem Cells
Peptide Complex
MSM

What does it look like?
Like any other moisturizer. White and creamy.

Does it have a scent?
It does have a citrus scent to it. It's not over powering, but definitely noticeable.

How do you use it?
It says you can apply it day and night but I only apply it at night because I didn't want to risk ruining my makeup.

Does it work?
As far as the anti-aging effects, I can't say that I noticed a difference. Then again, I think you need to use something (unless it's really potent) for quite some time before noticing that kind of change. It did however break me out like no other. So that's when I decided to quit using it. I'm not sure why it happened but I wasn't going to rick wrecking my skin to find out.

The next product is the Advanced Formula Vitamin C Serum

This was used hand-in-hand with the moisturizer. Actually, I applied this before I applied the moisturizer.

What's in it?
20% Vitamin C
Hyaluronic Acid
Ferluic Acid
Sea Buckhorn Oil
Argan Oil
Rosehip Oil
Plant Stem Cells
Pomegrante

What does it look like?
It is a yellow-orange serum.

Does it have a scent?
This also has a citrus scent

How do you use it?
I applied this to my finger tips and then pushed and patted into my skin and then applied the moisturizer over the top.

Does it work?
As I said with the other product, I didn't notice any anti-aging effect from this product but I didn't use it long enough because I stopped using it once I started breaking out.

So that's what I think about these products. I am happy that I was given the opportunity to try them even though they didn't work for me. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that this does work for. I may have continued to use them if I didn't post makeup tutorials that require close up shots of my face.

If you are interested in purchasing these products I will link their website below

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
