BB Cream and Simple Eye Routine

Hi everyone,
I have been wearing makeup similar to this A LOT lately. I've really been enjoying the look a BB Cream gives my skin. That paired with a super easy eye look makes my life so much easier!

This is the finished look...
If you'd like to know how I achieved this look then keep on scrollin'

I prepped my skin with an eye cream and daily moisturizer. Then applied a layer of this elf Poreless primer.

I bought this before I went on vacation and honestly I wasn't expecting much from it. I've tried several BB creams and I haven't liked any of them. This one is so good! It gives me a really good amount of coverage and feels really nice on my skin. I dab dots all around my face and then blend it in with a damp Real Techniques sponge.

I still need concealer under my eyes and around my nose to help within my dark undereye circles and redness around my nose.

I set my undereye concealer with elf HD setting powder.

I set the rest of my face with NYX finishing powder and then slightly bronzed the skin with Physicians Formula bronzer.

I primed my lids with this Wet n Wild Primer.

I filled in my brows with none other than the trusty Milani Brow Fix Kit.

Now for the shadows. For this look I chose a taupe shimmer, a champagne shimmer, and a highlight shade that is close to my skintone.

Using a flat brush, I applied the Bella Espresso shade all over my lid using a patting motion.

Using the same shadow and a crease brush, I brought the shadow up into my crease. Just follow the natural shape of your eye socket for this.

Then blend with a fluffy brush. I smudged the same shadow under the eye as well.

I highlighted my browbone with the nude shadow.

I applied a bit of this champagne shadow to the inner corner of my eye.

Lashes!

I love this blush when I am wearing a more natural look. It's such a pretty natural flush to the cheeks.

Then I set my face with this setting spray.

I didn't use any liner today. This butter gloss gives me a good amount of color without one.

And we are done!
Here's some pictures of the finished look...

I'm sure you noticed the different background in these pictures. That is because I totally forgot to take them when I finished this so I had to snap some downstairs really quickly before I headed out the door.

This eye looks is so pretty and easy to do!

I hope that you all enjoyed this post. If you try it, post pictures on the blog group so I can see!

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
