Warm Eye Tutorial: Using Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette

Hello again,
Thank you for joining me today. I hope that you all had a great weekend. I decided it was time for me to play with my PB&J Palette from Too Faced. Hard to believe I've had this since May and am
just now getting around to using it. Boy was I missing out! The shadows are BEAUTIFUL and I love the look I created. I plan on doing many more looks with this palette so if you're interested let me know and I'll post them as well.

This is the look I am showing you today...
It's very warm and the tones in these shadows really made my eyes pop!

These are the only shadows I am using. Surprisingly enough, I didn't feel the need to bring in any other shadows.

Starting with a primed lid, I applied "Spread the Love" all over the lid.

Using a fluffy brush and "Peanut Butter" I swept this color from my crease and brought it up towards my brow bone. I didn't want it to thouch the brow but I wanted a nice wash of this gorgeous shadow across the eye.

Using a small crease brush, I applied "Nuts About U" (How cute are these shadow names?!) to the outer corner and slightly brought it into the crease.

You guys know I love me some depth in the outer corner so I couldn't resist using "Jammin'" in the outer most corner of my eye. This shadow is a deep purple with gold shimmer in it. I was surprised that it darkened up that area rather nicely without taking away from the warm Browns.

"Bananas" was a must! That shadow is so pretty! I applied a healthy amount of this to the inner part of my lid, using my good ole finger tip.

I highlighted my brow bone with "Extra Creamy"

*Off camera I applied a dramatic winged liner, lined my water lines with a black pencil

Then I smudged "Peanut Brittle" and "Jammin'" along my lower lashline.

I applied a healthy amount of mascara to the top and bottom lashes and I was done.!

Now let's pose like it's going out of style!
(Queue: Madonna "Vogue")

I love this look!!

Appreciate the liner!

I hope that you all enjoyed this look as much as I did. I love these shadows and I couldn't be happier with the way this look came together. If you try this look, post pics on the group so I can see them!

Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela

Get Ready With Me: Sick, but you'd never know it!

Welcome back! We've all had days when we're feeling under the weather and would rather stay in bed all day. Unfortunately, life doesn't always allow us to do so. I had one of these days this past weekend... it was Jr. Prom night for my nephew which means, photos with Auntie (he loved it, trust me)  Here are my tips and tricks on how to look your best when you're feeling your worst.  Let's get started... First things first, start with a clean face. Then, moisturize and prime your skin. I used a heavier moisturizer under primer because my skin tends to get very dry when I'm not feeling well.  An oldie but goodie is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer. This is about $5 at Target or drugstores. Concealing is always important. Especially when you're sick. I applied Age Rewind under my eyes and Dream Lumi around my nose to hide extra redness. I blended them in with my fingers using light patting motions.   I evened out my complexion with two fairly recent products...

Adela's at home pedicure

Welcome back! Spring is officially here which means warmer weather and cute sandals! It's time to get those tootsies back in shape! Now I can admit, a professional pedicure can be nice. But if you are short on time and want to save some cash why not do it at home? Today I'll share my at home pedicure routine. I do this year round (Once a month in the winter. Twice a month in the spring/summer). Let's get started... Here are the supplies you'll need: A towel Nail Polish remover Cotton balls Sugar scrub Bath Salts  Lotion Manicure kit Cuticle oil Cuticle remover  Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Nail file Buffer Pumice stone  Correcting pen Orange stick Clippers Cuticle clippers Base coat Top coat Polish of your choice  Large bowl to soak your feet I know that seems like a lot, you probably already have these items. If not, you can find most of them at your local dollar store.  Step 1. Remove old polish. This is the polish remover I use. Any brand will work. Step...

I went shopping!

Hello again, Let's be honest, we all love to see what others buy. I know I do! I've picked up some new beauty products and I thought I'd share them with you. This is several trips/purchases put together in one post. Grab a snack and some iced tea. It's going to be a long one!  Here are the goods. Some are repurchases, some are new. I can't wait to dig into these babies! I'll say a bit about each product.  Covergirl Clump Crusher- I've been a long time fan of Covergirl mascaras. Clump Crusher has made it's way into my favorite spot. It has a plastic brush with a curve to it so it easily reaches all of the lashes. As the name implies it doesn't clump AT ALL! I didn't believe it till I tried it and now I alway have a tube of this. I stock up when it's buy one get one 50% off.  I ordered the next three products off Hautelook a few weeks ago. This is the foundation I always use. It's several shades swirled together as a liquid then baked on a ...
