Halloween Series
3 Easy Looks
Angel, Vampire, Masquerade Mask
Hello again,
We are continuing on with our Halloween Series. Today I want to share some quick and easy ideas for those of you who don't want to go all out with your Halloween costume. Or maybe you want something wearable to work. These next looks are easy and can be achieved with very little extra products.
Let's get to the looks!
Look #1 Angel
This is a picture of the finished look. You can add color if you want and turn this into a fairy.
For my face, I left my makeup how I normally would wear it but with a bit more blush. I primed my eyes with Milani Eye Shadow Primer.
I wanted to keep this look light and angelic like, so I pulled out The Blushed Nudes.
I took this light silver, taupe shadow on a fluffy brush and blended it into my crease.
Using the next shade over, I darkened the crease just a bit with a smaller fluffy brush.
I applied this Color Tattoo all over the lid
Then applied some of this pigment from MAC over the top. I don't know the name of this, I want to say it's "Reflects (Something)" it's a very iridescent color that changes to a blue-ish/purple color. Maybe it's Reflects Blue??
I added a double wing liner using Jordana Fabuliner.
Then I took this blue glitter and added it to the inner corner. This ended up falling down the side of my face, which I actually didn't mind.
I picked these pretty little gems up at my local fabric/craft store. You can use the self stick kind but I planned on using lash glue to apply mine.
Start sticking these babies all over the side of your face. Because these gems are pretty large, I didn't want to add too many.
I thought it needed a little bit of extra sparkle or shine so I went back in with the MAC pigment I used earlier and lightly stamped it around the gems using a fluffy brush.
I added some mascara to the top and bottom lashes. Then added some more glitter around the gems and I was done!
Here is another picture of the finished look. Now all you have to do is add on a halo and wings!
Look #2 Vampire
This one is probably the fastest look out of all. I decided to vamp (get it?) up the makeup I was already wearing. That way, those of you who are on a time crunch can use this look and go. I chose my trusty Chocolate Bar palette.
I took Amaretto on an angled brush and applied it heavily through the crease. This is a reddish brown shadow so it is perfect for this look.
Using a flat ended angled brush I applied Cherry Cordial to the outer corner and crease.
Now for the vampire lips! I mixed these two lipsticks to create a deep berry lip.
Then I took s Q-Tip and wiped off the lipstick where I am putting my fangs.
Using a small detail brush and Milk pencil I drew on my teeth.
And we are done!! See, I told you guys it'd be quick!

Look #3 Masquerade Mask
Now for my favorite one of all! Prep your eyes with primer.
This is the palette I used for this look. It has the perfect white shadow.
I applied this shimmery white shadow all over my lid. From lashline to browbone.
I created a cut crease and smudged the black along my lower lashline using a pencil brush.
I cannot remember where I got this from. It is a shimmery white pigment. I applied this to the inner corner.
I drew dots for an outline of the mask shape I wanted using a black eye liner.
Then connect the dots!
I added in some details to the outer edge of my mask.
Now for the fun part, the color! I wanted to keep this silver and black so I chose this silver pigment I got in a BoxyCharm. You can use whatever color you want for yours.
Fill in all of the skin showing on the inside of your mask.
For more details I went in with a liquid liner. I don't like this liner for my eyes but I do like it for details like this. It has a felt tip that is very flexible and I have found that I am able to create designs without smudging the products I have underneath.
Draw on whatever your little heart desires.
I added a wing liner and applied mascara. You can add on lashes if you want but for the sake of keeping this tutorial easy, I skipped them.
And we're done!
Here are some pictures of the finished look...
I hope you enjoyed these easy looks. If you try one, I want to see them! Keep checking back for more Halloween tutorials. I have a few more in the works!
Until next time...
Xoxo,
Adela
